Baby has finally started sleeping through the night,
you have booked a table at your favourite restaurant,
arranged a babysitter and picked an outfit
for a very romantic {and rare} date with your other half.
It would be nice to have your hair done too,
but this is out of the question with a little one in tow, right?
Well, it is possible thanks to BloBar,
the first salon in West London
to offer a free of charge crèche service
to all busy mums {and dads}.
BloBar is a boutique-style salon,
with comfy chairs, super friendly staff & the cutest playroom
that guarantees you'll get that treasured me-time
{and a nice blowdry} in peace.
How does it work?
When you book your appointment,
let the staff know you'll be bringing your children,
and they will arrange for someone to look after them.
And while the kids play and have fun,
you can indulge in some pampering and beautifying.
you can indulge in some pampering and beautifying.
I was invited to try out the elasticizer treatment,
created by Philip Kingsley
{the man who coined the phrase 'bad hair day'},
and left with incredibly soft hair
and a bouncy blowdry à la Kate Middleton.
I'll certainly be spoiling myself a bit more from now on.
In a nutshell: high-end beauty salon
that works a treat for busy mums.
BloBar, 81 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2EF
Nearest Tube stations: Turnham Green & Stamford Brook

What a fabulous idea! I wish we had something like that where I live, I'm having a lunch date with my husband on Saturday!

Yes, it's a very convenient idea.
DeleteEnjoy your lunch date!
OMG.... that looks fabulous. Why hasn't anyone thought to do this before, and it's in my old stomping ground, Chiswick; they'll be lots of mummies going there! :o)
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely awesome! The idea, and the look of the playroom is simply fantastic. I am happy to see that more and more of these concepts — businesses accomodating moms with kids in tow — are been built. Yay for modernity :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Melanie! London is always surprising me with its practical spirit and this is a very good example. A simple and brilliant idea that makes life easier :)
