Summer is just round the corner.
This can only mean one thing:
wedding season is here.
As much as I may enjoy buying pretty things for me,
I can safely say I adore to shop
beautiful occasion wear for the little ones.
And these three London-based brands
made me wish their children's ranges
came in adult sizes too.
Wedding at the Manor
Marie-Chantal
Created by mum {of five} Marie Chantal of Greece,
the brand is renowned for the use of premium materials
and for its classic designs.
Wear Where?: the 'bon chic, bon genre' style
is ideal for official ceremonies and ultra chic weddings.
Top picks: suit jackets for boys
and princessy dresses for girls.
Ouch factor: pricey, of course,
but you can always find nice deals on their website.
Wedding in the Countryside
Liberty London
London's prestigious store {running since 1875}
recently launched its own children's range,
made with 100% Liberty print fabrics.
Wear Where?: Although limited and mostly for girls,
Liberty's kids clothes are ideal
for semi-formal occasions and parties.
Top picks: floral dresses for baby girls
and Liberty print shirts for boys.
Ouch Factor: again, not the most economical solution,
but totally worth it for the timeless designs and quality.
Wear Where?: The simple, elegant nautical designs
can be worn everywhere & everyday,
even on formal occasions if styled appropriately.
Top picks: all white broderie dresses for girls,
chino shorts and nautical jumpers for boys.
Ouch Factor: excellent value for money
for garments that stand the test of time.

Wedding on the Beach
The Little White Company
When the White Company's founder {and mum of four}
gave birth to her first child,
she thought of creating a stylish children's range,
made from beautiful fabrics.
can be worn everywhere & everyday,
even on formal occasions if styled appropriately.
Top picks: all white broderie dresses for girls,
chino shorts and nautical jumpers for boys.
Ouch Factor: excellent value for money

Marie-Chantal: Boy Jacket £195, Jeans £89, Shirt £59 / Sequin Dress £125 / Jacquard Dress £150.
I love love love that Liberty dress.... it's so pretty, and the fabric looks gorgeous. I think there are times when you can splash out on that one special outfit! :o)
ReplyDeleteI agree, when it's for special occasions, splashing out is permitted! :)
DeleteOh wow, these gorgeous wedding outfits are so much more chic than the brown and yellow trouser suits I was dressed in during the 1970s. I'm almost offended my mother didn't think to future proof my wedding outfits!
ReplyDeleteHaha, this made me laugh! On a second thought, I guess the brown & yellow trousers were very fashionable in the '70s :)
