I am not a geeky person and at school,
my grades in science left a lot to be desired.

So, when Mr K (the family's geek)
suggested going to the Science Museum,
I contemplated with dread a day full of boring stuff.
I couldn't be more wrong.
Science Everywhere
The Science Museum is the place
to see and celebrate human ingenuity in all its forms.
to see and celebrate human ingenuity in all its forms.
From Stone Age hand tools to real spacecrafts,
and Foucault's pendulum to Pasteur's silkworms,
you won't know where to turn your head first.
We really enjoyed the Flight gallery,
with the hot air balloons & WWI aeroplanes,
and the Making the World Modern gallery
with the gorgeous vintage cars & steam engines.

I agree, the Science Museum is great for kids. Getting them past the gift shop and that moving Dalek is a challenge though!

DeleteIsn't it fascinating? We were there last weekend and the kids finished by asking how soon we could go back!
ReplyDeleteI bet they had a great time! What I love about the Science Museum is that is as much fun for grown-ups too! We'll be going back soon too :)
DeleteI love the Science Museum, although I went with my friend in December to see the Large Hadron Collider exhbition - less child-friendly! Have you been to the hands-on section of the Natural History Museum? Amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so interesting. I'll make sure we go there next time we visit the NHM, thank you so much for you suggestion!
DeleteMy son and I love hanging out in The Garden... Mummy is also known to take advantage of the free WiFi... :)
