The V&A Museum of Childhood

This is London. It rains.
You have kids.
They are bored. You are looking for a way out.
It's simple.
You go to the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green.

A Big Toy Chest

True to the V&A's magpie reputation
the Childhood Museum is bursting at its seams
with toys and children's paraphernalia.

From exquisite Victorian dolls' houses to Star Wars robots,
GameBoys to antique rocking horses,
and Barbies to Japanese dolls,
the V&A's toys' collection is fascinating.

Please DO Touch

There are different play areas for the little ones to enjoy
(one of them is a beach, with huts & sand),
and toys to explore and play with,
like rocking horses & robots.

The museum also plans daily activities free of charge
with lots of crafting and painting.

a bit of shopping wouldn't hurt, right?
