Ho Ho Ho, Last Minute Gifts

No matter the lenght of my list,
the meticulous gift planning,
the miles I run/walked/crawled shopping,
tradition has it that I always end up
a few gifts short right before C-day.

In order to avoid the very festive (& agoraphobic)
last minute Christmas shopping in London,
I filled the gift gap online from home.

Last minute for ladies: Cushions.
I recently developed a slight
(& inexplicable) obsession for cushions.

There's nothing more cozy & Christmassy
than a nice fluffy cushion to hug on a cold night.

Last minute for gentlemen: Soap.
It's not the most imaginative gift (no time for that)
and we all know that men are hard to shop for.

A nice smelling soap in a tin
is a safe gift (I like the price tag as well).
Soap from Scottish Fine Soaps

Last minute for kids: Tate's prints for children.
They stock a variety of prints, framed or unframed,
and their prices are really nice too.

An original gift for the kids' bedroom
and a refreshing alternative to toys.

  1. Fabulous ideas! I made a very erm, vintage mistake with my brother's present. I had the idea of blowing up one of my photos and framing it for him and evidently neglected to notice that photo booths moved out of UK high streets 20 years ago. Suffice to say, he is receiving the frame before Christmas but not the print.

    1. Oh that's a shame.
It's a lovely idea for a gift though!

    1. I love it too! It's on my list of gifts for myself (although this might not go well with Mr K; he doesn't share my enthusiasm for soft furnishings)!
